Technical Staff
Stacy Bryant- Stacy joined Cave Creek Equine Surgical Center in 1999. As a veterinary technician, she enjoys working with the staff, doctors, clients and large variety of horses. The most fun part of her job is knowing how to use the state-of-the-art equipment at the clinic. Stacy is always seeking out learning opportunities, and strives to better herself at her job. She spends her free time bass fishing and tournament fishing on the local lakes. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys making people smile and laugh. Stacy would do anything to help people and animals (all the way down to the insects that she catches and releases!). She takes great pride in everything she does at CCESC, from cleaning, helping with appointments and doing bone scans, to assisting in surgery. She has two dogs: Triton a 5 year old Rottweiler, and Mayson a 6 year old Pit Bull.
Kim Russell, CVT- Kim first started at Cave Creek Equine Surgical Center in 2004. Performing anesthesia is the most fun part of her job, but she also enjoys the diversity of people and their horses that she works with at the clinic. She feels great satisfaction is watching horses with difficult lameness return to work because of the advance diagnostics and cutting edge therapies offered at Cave Creek Equine. She spends her free time with her cutting horses, taking care of all her animals, going country dancing with her husband and spending time with her family and friends. She has a passion for riding her cutting horses, performing anesthesia and caring for animals. Kim is most proud of acquiring her CVT license and finally pursuing her dream of riding cutting horses. She is also proud of rescuing and rehabilitating her Jack Russell Terrier. She has 7 horses, 4 dogs, 2 pot bellied pigs, 1 pigmy goat, and 1 cat.
Tammy Zarbock- Tammy worked at Cave Creek Equine Surgical Center from 2000 to 2007 and re-joined the staff in January of 2011. Her favorite part of the job is performing anesthesia. She likes working with a wide variety of horses with different conditions, and seeing them return to performing. In her spare time she works with her father helping him manage Arizona MD Barn Company. She enjoys riding, traveling, scuba diving, going to movies, and spending time with her new dog ‘Butterbean’. She is most proud of getting her bachelors degree from ASU and the experiences she as had with horses in her life. She currently has 2 pets: ‘Magik’ her horse, and ‘Halle Berry Butterbean’ her English Bulldog.
Robyn Reed- Robyn joined Cave Creek Equine Surgical Center in 2011. Her main responsibilities are performing anesthesia on horses and nursing duties. The part of her job she enjoys most, is working with great horses and clients. Robyn spends her free time taking reining lessons and cooking, but her real passion is riding and showing horses. She is most proud of winning top ten at the US Arabian Nationals where she placed 4th out of 48 horses. Robyn has three pets: Frank, a beta fish; Orange Kitten and Farroah, her 7 year old arabian horse.
Stables and Grounds
Mark Etter- Mark has been working at Cave Creek Equine Surgical Center since 2006. Mark can be credited with keeping Cave Creek Equine looking its best. He is a fourth generation Arizonan and enjoys team roping. Mark is a retired fire captain from the Sedona Fire Department.
Rene Moore- Rene has been with Cave Creek Equine Surgical Center since 2006. She can be credited with keeping the hospital and patient stalls sparkling. She enjoys riding and just being around horses. In her spare time, she enjoys boating, flying, gardening, reading and hanging out with her family.
