NEW Equine MRI
The science of equine MRI is growing rapidly, and knowing what to do with the information gained from an MRI study is the key to a sound horse. We have been performing MRI studies on horses since 2004, and have gained a large knowledge base.
Satellite Clinics-Flagstaff and Tucson, Arizona
Northern Arizona Equine in Flagstaff and Bandalero Ranch in Tucson, are currently being operated as a satellite clinics of Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center. We offer weekly service at both clinics, with more restricted Flagstaff services in the winter and spring. Appointments can be arranged through the Phoenix office. Lameness examinations and sports medicine, prepurchase examinations, advanced diagnostics and some surgeries are among the services provided.
Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center is owned and operated by Dr. Ross Rich. It is a two veterinarian practice that focuses on providing high quality sports medicine, diagnostics and surgery.

Cave Creek Equine Surgical & Diagnostic
Imaging Center (CCESDIC) is a state-of-the-art
referral equine hospital that opened in 2002 under the
ownership and direction of
Dr. F. Ross Rich, DVM, PA-C. The hospital is located on
five acres just north of the
Carefree Highway in Phoenix, Arizona. The facility offers
medical and surgical services
geared towards diagnosis and treatment of sports-related
problems in the elite equine
athlete, as well as the future equine athlete (the young
horse). Orthopedic and
respiratory issues continue to be Cave Creek Equine
Surgical & Diagnostic Imaging Center's
primary interest and focus. However,
we also deal with other soft tissue problems in the equine
athlete.

strives to keep the veterinarians, technicians, and office staff

most innovative care of the horse from the beloved pet to
international competition
